Director/DP Liz Hinlein was born in Philadelphia received a BFA from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and a MFA in cinematography from the American Film Institute.
As a commercial director Liz has traveled the world working for high profile clients such as Dove, Revlon, Maybelline, Olay, Woolite, Visine, Gillette and Nivea working in places as far flung as China, Moscow, Prague, Argentina, Brazil, Poland and Thailand. She has directed name talent such as Kelly Garner, Jonathan Tucker, Halle Berry, Britney Spears and Mary J. Blige among others. Her award winning short films “White Boy’s Can’t Dance”, “Mistress Ruby” and “Haute Voltage” screened at venues around the world including; The Berlin Film Festival, Slamdance, Blackwatch Film Festival, NY Indie Film Festival, Comedy Central, Hamptons International Film Festival among others. “Haute Voltage” was featured on the Slamdance DVD compilation; The Dirty Dozen/ Twelve Angry Women.
